We don't bring relief.
We plant systems
that stay.
Mission Sowers partners with orphanages in Democratic Republic of Congo to install infrastructure that keeps producing after we leave. We assess each orphanage’s needs and set them up with solar power, clean water, a business the home runs itself, and skills training for the residents. We work alongside the caregivers already doing the work, not in place of them.

Our Story
From annual relief trips to infrastructure that lasts. How we changed our approach — and why it took three years to understand what real support looks like.
Programs
The Rooted Model: three layers, $13,000, one home at a time. Solar power, clean water, a small business, and an apprenticeship cohort for older residents.
Gallery
Photos from Kinshasa: the homes, the children, and the caregivers. The real faces behind the work, from the people already there doing it every day.

Meet Freddie.
Freddie is 16. Five years ago, when he was eleven, he was sleeping on the streets of Kinshasa. Someone told him there was an orphanage nearby — a woman named Sister Rosalie who took children in. He found his way to her gate. He asked if he could stay.
She said yes.
"God bless Mission of Sowers for what you do. Just spending time with us means so much. We keep you in our prayers."
— Freddie, in Lingala. Kinshasa, 2025.
