These photos are ours.
Every image in this gallery was taken by our team or our partners during field visits to Kinshasa. We do not use stock photography. We do not stage scenes. We try to document the work honestly — which means you will see joy and difficulty side by side, because that is what is true.
We take photography and the dignity of the people we photograph seriously. Images of children are used with the understanding and consent of the caregivers who look after them. If you have questions about how we use photography, write to us.
