The word "partnership" covers a lot of ground in the development sector. For some organisations it means a logo on a report. For others it means a formal MOU and quarterly check-ins. We don't use the word that loosely.
When Mission Sowers calls someone a partner, we mean that they are doing the work on the ground — and that we are working in service of what they are already doing. Sekani Tech installs the solar system. Hope Drill sinks the borehole. Sister Rosalie runs the home. We are not the lead organisation. We are the organisation that makes the infrastructure happen.
This matters because it changes the accountability structure. Our partners hold us accountable to delivering what we promised. We don't hold them accountable for using our support the way we intended. That is not partnership — that is patronage.
If that is the kind of relationship you want, we are probably the wrong organisation. If you are looking for a relationship built on mutual accountability, we'd like to talk.

Sister Rosalie & Orphelinat Ceprokin

The anchor of the 2026 pilot. Director of Ceprokin, one of the homes Mission Sowers has visited most consistently since 2022. Sister Rosalie's leadership, her relationship with the children, and her willingness to be part of something new made the pilot possible. The Rooted Model is designed around the infrastructure gap she has long identified.
Sekani Tech
Kinshasa, DRC · Solar Installation
Our solar installation partner. Sekani Tech brings deep local knowledge of Kinshasa's electrical environment, quality equipment sourcing, and an established track record of solar installations across the city. They are a DRC company doing this work at home — not a foreign provider parachuted in for the project.
Hope Drill
Kinshasa, DRC · Water & Borehole
Our water installation partner. Hope Drill carries out the drilling, casing, and pump installation for the clean water component of the Rooted Model. They hold the necessary permits, operate the required equipment, and understand Kinshasa's geology and water table. No foreign team could replicate what they do.
Church of God Charitable Trust
Ireland · Umbrella Charity & Governance
All Mission Sowers giving flows through CGCT, a registered umbrella charity in Ireland. CGCT provides the governance framework, statutory reporting to the Charities Regulator, and the financial accountability that allows Mission Sowers to operate under Irish charity law. CGCT is not a silent backer — they are an active governance partner.

Technical Partners
Technical providers in Kinshasa who can deliver specific components of the Rooted Model in future homes — solar, water, construction, electrical, skills training. Must be locally established with the permits and track record to deliver at programme scale.
Institutional Partners
Organisations in Ireland or internationally that can provide funding governance, fund-matching, programme support, or facilitate introductions to potential home sponsors. Experience with international development giving and Irish charity regulation is helpful.
Community Partners
Individuals or organisations in Kinshasa with knowledge of the orphanage landscape who can help us identify suitable candidate homes for future Rooted Model installations. We do not select homes from the outside. We select them in conversation with people who know the community.
